Tephyr passed from this world in 2015 after a 13 year struggle with LMS: Leiomayosarcoma.
She encouraged me to start Alternative Nature Online Herbal in 1997 and contributed as long as her health allowed.
Tephyr lived in the mountains of Western Massachusetts, USA. She learned gardening and the love of plants from working in the garden with her parents and grandparents as a child and has been studying herbalism and living in harmony with Nature since her teens.

It is highly recommend if you or a loved one are having a physical, mental or spiritual crisis that you find the appropriate practitioner in your area to consult in person. IMO anyone who tries to practice these online is likely to do more harm then help.
~ Please; I love getting emails and having questions asked: I often learn much from your thoughts myself and hope to pass it on when I answer. But....before you write to me think through what you are asking. I cannot teach you herbalism or gardening in an email. Vague questions can not be answered. Don't hesitate to write me if you have a specific question dealing with the content and concepts of this site. If you don't get an answer ask yourself if there was a clear and specific question given and if your writing was legible. Thanks!
